2017 Domaine François Raquillet • Mercurey Vignes des Chazeaux Cuvée Suzanne
Note : 91/100
A new cuvée for Raquillet, the 2017 Mercurey Vignes des Chazeaux Cuvée Suzanne offers up scents of smoky berry fruit, dark chocolate and rich soil tones, followed by a medium to full-bodied, velvety and layered palate that’s framed by fine tannins and ripe acids. It’s a nice complement to the existing range.
2017 Domaine François Raquillet • Mercurey Vieilles Vignes
Note : 90/100
Revealing aromas of smoky berry fruit, grilled meats and a subtle framing of new wood, the 2017 Mercurey Vieilles Vignes is medium to full-bodied, fleshy, supple and open-knit, with melting tannins and ripe acids. It’s more giving and immediate than the more concentrated wines Raquillet produced in 2015 and 2016, which will lend it even greater near-term charm.
2017 Domaine François Raquillet • Mercurey La Brigadière
Note : 90/100
Aromas of crisp orchard fruit and white flowers introduce the 2017 Mercurey La Brigadière, a medium to full-bodied, satiny and succulent wine with a lively, layered core and a pure, well-defined finish. This is a worthy successor to the fine 2016 rendition, and it boasts even more expressive fruit tones.

Note : 92/100
The 2017 Mercurey 1er Cru Les Veleys Blanc offers up a pretty bouquet of buttered orchard fruit, beeswax and fresh pastry, followed by a medium to full-bodied, bright and fleshy palate with succulent acids and chewy extract. It’s another successful white from Raquillet.
2017 Domaine François Raquillet • Mercurey 1er Cru Les Veleys
Note : 93/100
Aromas of dark berries, cherries and spice mingling with nuances of licorice and mocha introduce Raquillet’s 2017 Mercurey 1er Cru Les Veleys, a medium to full-bodied, fleshy wine with good concentration, fine structuring tannins and ripe acids that’s more elegant and longer on the finish than the Nagues this year. It’s an excellent wine that will also represent fine value.
2017 Domaine François Raquillet • Mercurey 1er Cru Les Vasées
Note : 90+/100
The 2017 Mercurey 1er Cru Les Vasées unfurls in the glass with aromas of smoky blackberries, cassis, grilled game bird and espresso roast. On the palate, it’s medium to full-bodied, layered and nicely concentrated, its fine but chalky tannins largely cloaked in fleshy fruit.
